Not sure what my main subject is yet.

Since I've never actually written a blog before, I don't know where to begin. I'd considered writing about things that annoyed me, but that would make me seem cynical. Or talk about my day to day life, but that would seem conceited. So I'm just kind of going to begin with the first sentence that pops into my head, and see where that flows.
I can't stand the feel of sandpaper. It's uneven, rough, and all around uncomfortable to touch. Even the sound of it puts me on edge, it just sounds dry and scratchy. Like when you leave your contacts in your eyes for too long or when you have a sore throat. I guess everyone has their pet peeves, just little ticks that seem to rub them the wrong way (sandpaper LITERALLY rubs me the wrong way). For some things, you can rationalize why it is you hate it. But other times you have a hard time explaining why the shower curtain should be closed after they've finished showering or why you always pull loose strands of hair off of someones shirt. Which are things that I do, not really sure why, but I do them anyway. Is it habit? Something like that.
It's weird, blogging. Like putting your words out into a black hole, not really knowing if it will end up anywhere. But I guess it's just thoughts. Whether people hear them or not, it's out there. On the internet. Ugh, creepy.
